“The Austin Music Foundation is such an inspiring place.  As someone who was new to town, AMF took me under their wing, and I am so grateful.  Since the first day I went into AMF, the organization has given me invaluable feedback about where I am as an artist and the kind of promotional tools I need to expand my audience and build a name for myself in Austin.  I told them I wanted to concentrate on booking shows, and they not only sat down and highlighted all of the places that would be perfect for me and my music, but also personally reached out to their contacts to help make sure I would get a chance to play on an Austin stage.  Their staff is super friendly and readily available.  If you’re really ready to put yourself out there in the Austin music scene and not sure how to, make a trip to the Austin Music Foundation.  You won’t regret it.” –Drew Davis

“Austin Music Foundation and The Creative Media Center have been such a wonderful resource to me over the last few years! I have met amazing people at the free panels and also had the opportunity to meet one on one with a music lawyer right when I needed it. I am grateful to live in a city that has so much to offer working musicians.” –Vanessa Lively
I can’t recommend the AMF Creative Media Center highly enough for local artists. Regardless of where you are in your career – be it, considering attending your first open mic, or signing your first record deal – Alex and the team have access to resources that can help. More importantly, they have the interests of the independent artist at heart. I made some great connections through the team while I was in Austin and make it a point to stop by every time I’m in town. –Aly Tadros

The Austin Music Foundation’s Creative Media Center is a tremendous resource for up and coming musicians and bands in the Austin Area. The Creative Media Center team gave me a better understanding of how the music industry works and what I can do to stand out from the pack.  Any musicians trying to find their way in this crazy world of music would benefit from setting up a meeting with the AMF’s Creative Media Center! – Charlie Gore

“Over the last few years, AMF has been a huge help to my music career. Without AMF’s help, I wouldn’t have made it to where I am right now. Thanks especially to Lisa Fawcett and Alex Vallejo for the many hours they’ve spent mentoring me and helping me grow as a musician.”

“The CMC has given us the upper hand in the Austin music scene. They have dedicated staff, like Lisa Fawcett, to help with your website and online marketing. Musicians who have done it all, like Alex Vallejo, to share their experiences in the  industry with you. And great workshops that discuss all angles of the business. The environment screams creativity, and as an artist you have to feel blessed to have such a wonderful resource – literally a gold mine – at your fingertips!  In the words of Rudi DeVino, ‘The AMF CMC has all the tools and knowledge you need to cultivate yo cerebellum!'” -Cap N Kirk, SubKulture Patriots
